Each Friday here at Paul & Perkins PA in the month of October we’ll be honoring Breast Cancer IMG952648Awareness Month. Staff members will wear pink each Friday to show their support for this devastating disease which touches millions of families across the world each year.

Breast cancer has became so prominent in our society over the past few decades. Today in the United States, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. Overall, it is the 2nd leading cause of death in women. 40,000 out of the 220,000 diagnoses will die just in this year alone. Breast cancer will also take the lives of nearly 2,000 men in the United States this year as well.

Raising awareness and funding are key to fighting breast cancer. If you like to donate to support the fight on breast cancer, please visit the Susan G. Komen foundation.
