Listen as Paul Perkins details a story of a former client whose house was hit by a tornado, but their insurance company refused to replace their home.

The back of this nice couple’s home was ripped completely off by a tornado.  The insurance company promptly attempted repairs for the damage.  However, for many years following these repairs they experienced serious issues with water leaking into the home and elevated utility bills.

The insurance company refused to come out and address these issues.  The couple called us, and we filed a lawsuit on their behalf.  Our expert refuted their expert’s claims by showing that the studs were twisted during the tornado, and that this caused structural damage to the home such that it needed to be torn down and replaced.

After years of litigation and a jury trial, the insurance company was required to replace the home entirely. Also, in Florida the insurance company has to pay for the insured party’s attorney’s fees and costs when they successfully sue their insurance company to receive coverage due to them.  Watch the video to learn more.
