David Paul is one of the only Plaintiff’s lawyers in Orlando to be Certified by the Florida Bar, The American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. These certifications indicate the highest level of evaluation for competency and experience.
David’s legal story began when he was only ten years old and decided he wanted to be an attorney. He graduated from Stetson University College of Law with a degree in Political Science and J.D. in Law in 1994. He began his career at a prominent Orlando law firm, defending health care facilities and other corporations. Eighteen years ago, David switched sides, and now represents only individuals and families.
David focuses his practice on cases where he believes his client has genuinely been wronged and has suffered a life-changing injury or death. He focuses on litigation and trials involving birth injuries, medical malpractice, wrongful death, serious automobile accidents, trucking accidents, civil rights violations, roadside construction accidents, and professional negligence.
In his practice, David has successfully fought the largest companies in the country and has litigated cases throughout Florida and the United States. He has achieved more than 35 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million, including multiple in excess of $10 million dollars.
David is known for being detail oriented for clients and his dedication to fight against injustice, even against overwhelming odds. Amidst all of his accomplishments, he is most proud of his family. He is a committed husband (to his high school girlfriend) and father of five children. He is serious about his faith, and leads a weekly service at the Prison, works as a guardian ad litem for children, and performs pro bono international adoptions.
